My work is a slight departure from the mixed use of industrial, rugged and soft, flowing organic materials, in order to combine the masculine and feminine energy. Paper clay and paper pulp are the primary materials that hide metal and sharp objects. I wanted these pieces to emphasize the warm, and protective feminine nature through soft curves, balance and lightness. All these aspects are balanced in the duality of Yin and Yang.
