Explore scale and surface in your practice, print original large-scale woodblocks at least 24” x 36” and up to 40” x 96” in dimension. You will be provided with technical specs and woodblock instructional tutorials. Participants don’t have to be seasoned printmakers. Collaborative printing occurs over the course of a day April 21, 2020 10 am to 4 pm, but students will begin to work on their woodblocks in February 2020 at the school. We will have an exhibition of the finish works. Students will be able to work and store their plates at the school. All materials with the exception of the work carving tools will be provided. 12 Students maximum.
