BLANESTH
La huida I and La huida II are part of the new series that deals with mythological themes from ancient Greece. These two works represent the men of Ulysses trying to escape from Circe´s spell. Movement is the central axis of the painting and the composition; the dynamic brushstrokes accentuate it. The paintings suggest spaces between figuration and abstraction using a full inventory of technical applications. My works are typically use acrylics and are on large canvases to give realism to the scenes.
