The New York School of the Arts is pleased to announce that enrollment is open for our Summer Arts Intensive Program. Led by Executive Director Maurizio Pellegrin, participants will be part of a dynamic, one- or two-month exploration of their art practice in our creative and supportive educational environment.

Designed for artists and educators, the program includes one-on-one mentoring, critical thinking, and practical studio course study across a range of fine arts disciplines. In addition, participants will learn about portfolio development, marketing, and website development and will have access to the New York art scene. In order to facilitate this journey, each participant is provided with his or her own studio space for the duration of the program.

Dynamic and flexible, the program is ideal for candidates who are interested in a deep and focused artistic intensive and are looking to accomplish specific results within their own practice. The program is held in our centrally-located industrial Manhattan loft building and will give you the chance to experience and enjoy a New York City summer!

Students in the Summer Arts Intensive Program benefit from:

  • Studio space in a communal environment in our cultural center on the top floor above the school.

  • Opportunity to explore each of the following fine art disciplines: Painting, Sculpture, Printmaking, Professional Practice.

  • Course instruction with four different faculty members (one for each discipline) for a total of eight appointments.

  • Two summer classes of your choice

  • Individual critique with a selected faculty member and other Summer Arts Intensive participants.
